What is Bali Butterflies Park?

If the name does not give it away, then I want to know how dense your head is. As the name obviously implies, Bali Butterflies Park is a park that is filled with butterflies. You can see a whole lot of butterflies around the place, so if you are a butterfly lover, this place will be like your heaven on earth. Butterflies of many colors are available in the place, all ready to play with you.

But butterflies are not the only thing that is available to see in the place. The Butterflies park is also a place for you who like looking at insects. Entomologists will find this place a good place to hang around in. You can find many different breeds and kinds of insects, so this should tickle your fancy and insects. You want to see leaf insects? This is the perfect place. You want to get bamboozled by a stick insect who camouflages itself as a branch? You can find it here. You want to learn the metamorphosis of an insect? Take a guess where you can see it.

While this is a butterfly heaven, the place can be a bit small for your liking. However, because the place is small, you can basically find a huge group of butterflies cramped in one spot, making for a perfect view.

Educating and fun, so there is nothing not to love about this place. That is, unless you are a bit squirmy for insects, of course.

Where can I find it?

The park is located in Jl Batukaru, Sesandan, Tabanan. From Ngurah Rai, the international airport, you would need to undergo an hour and a half ride using cars or any other method of transportation resembling cars in speed. Renting cars would probably be the best choice for this journey, but if you can find buses or shuttle cars, they should be cheaper in the price department.

When does it open and how much is the ticket price of Bali Butterflies Park?

This park opens every day, but it is not 24/7. To be able to enter the place, you need to go there after 8 AM and before 5 PM. All of the hours are in WITA, so make sure you set your watch to the WITA time zone if you plan on visiting the place.

For the ticket prices, they should not be too choking for people with a thin wallet. For adults, you would need to Rp 80,000 per person. Children are marginally cheaper, with the price of Rp 40,000 for each child. Compared to the other attractions in Bali, this place is definitely cheaper. Sure, the ticket price of Bali Butterflies Park can be too high if you are a poor Indonesian, but if you are a rich Indonesian or if you are a foreign tourist with a currency that is currently winning against Rupiah, the admission fee should not be a problem.
